Rajamani has lived in Israel and has done extensive traveling in Greece studying Arabic and Greek music. He has also worked in the Romani Congress (U.N. Representations for the Roma).
In addition to his successful solo career, Rajamani has performed/recorded with International artists such as Willie Nelson, L. Shankar, Edie Brickell, Eric Johnson, Grammy producer KC Porter, Glen Velez, Gypsy Kings, Joel Guzman, Arthur Brown, Cindy Cashdollar, Carolyn Wonderland, Blues Boy Hubbard , Aloke Dutta, Paravai Muniamma , Bob Livingston, Dale Watson, Freddie Kaydahzinne(Apache singer and great great grandson of Chief Cochise), Lourdes Perez, Tom Riepl(German electric guitar master,) as well as Roma/Gypsy musicians such as Rumen Shopov(Bulgarian Roma),Dotschy Reinhardt(from the famous Django Reinhardt family), Erika Lakatos (Hungarian Romani), Kalman Balogh(Hungarian Roma) and more. He has had the great honor of playing for Paco De Lucia(the Flamenco master), Dr. Vijayalakshmi Navaneedhakrishnan(Indian Tamil folk singer), and has been an honorary Austin, Texas celebrity guest at many events where he has sung on stage with Texas stars such as Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Lyle lovett, Ray Benson, Eric Johnson, Shawn Colvin, and many many more. Rajamani's music has also been used in many movies including Turk Pipkins “Nobelity”.
Rajamani released his book of poems “The Red Road” in spring of 2012. Rajamani has given musical accompaniment for great poets and storytellers such as Coleman Barks, Robert Bly, David Whyte, Neomi Shihab and renowned German children aurthor Paul Maar. Rajamani has also performed for the Maharajah (king) of Jhodpur, India, Gaj Singh II, Lama Khen Riponche, Prince of Qatar.
He has also been interviewed on BBC World-NPR radio station by Steven Cueves as well as Tamil Jaya Television Station and the national Dhoor Dharsan television station of India amongst many other numerous international magazines and radio stations.
Rajamani is an Austin World Music winner and the 2008 nominee for the US Artist award and the 2014 nominee for the prestigious German World Music award on the European charts.
